Missile Man Design and construction of a model built from wood, polystyrene, plastic, clay and fibreglass. The nose-cone was formed by spinning polystyrene on a purpose built (albeit rather basic) lathe and then sanding it to shape. This was glassed and then cut-outs were made into which the clay features were sculpted. The completed model was just over a metre long.
